My conscience! He's the only person from home who's here (except Cleo but she doesn't have a lot to say I think), but our house is here too so it almost feels normal sometimes. He's gotten real good at bending since he's been here-- I guess he's been in Nautilus for three years before I woke up, even if it didn't seem that long. Sometimes he's human because of bending which was weird to get used to at first. But I'm really glad he's here.
He's really grumpy, but still good. He lives in the swamp and has a ton of complicated stuff in his lab. But he's good friends with Jiminy and offered to teach me math and science so I can figure out robots eventually-- he's super smart. I think he's nice, he just likes to be alone a lot even when he's sad, which I don't think really helps but I don't want to argue with him.
Knows everything and also everybody. She studies a lot of the city and can do magic. I dunno how she keeps track of it all because she seems really busy but she's always nice and does a lot to help people.
He's pretty confusing sometimes. Not everything he says makes sense and he uses a lot of nicknames even though he already knows my real name. Says I should do stuff for me and not because other people said to, which... I dunno. Maybe he might be sort of right.
She's been here for a long time, too, and has seen a lot so she's good at explaining things. Some of her family left because they went back to sleep and I think sometimes she worries about other people leaving, too.
Really brave and super nice. He's good at finding fun things to do around the city, and apparently he goes on lots of adventures. He's just like what I think real kids are supposed to be like.
I guess he's not a real human? But he's still a real person, and I don't know how all of that works. It's like other people have said-- there's a difference between being real and being human. I just don't know what the difference is or how I'm supposed to work towards it.
A really nice scientist who lives in the South and makes robots. We argue sometimes because I don't think she believes in magic and also she thinks puppets count as real even though I've told her a whole bunch that they're not the same as people.
She's really nice!!! But kind of strict because I think she worries about people getting hurt even though it's not her job to watch after everybody all the time.
Kinda mysterious. I don't know if he wears a mask all the time or if his face just looks like that. I think he owns the museum-- I've never been to one of those before, but it sounds neat. Every time I've talked to him he's been real nice, and he knows a lot. Probably because he's been here for a long time.
Has a really weird way of teaching people things, but he seems okay. I didn't know that 'doctor' could be a name because I thought it was just a job but... I guess that's his name.
A skeleton! He's actually dead, which is really sad, but he's still super nice. He's new here, but he seemed okay with the idea of bending and stuff so I hope he'll figure things out fast.
Super smart. And he likes to argue about stuff a lot. But he's pretty cool to be around anyway, and I think he's sorta close to my age. He seems really confused about Nautilus most of the time, though.
Another puppet! But he doesn't think he's a puppet because he says it's a muppet but it sounds like they're the same thing. He's a scientist and an actor, and he let me look at robots to help figure out how to make them work. But then he went back to sleep.
He gave me a crossbow! And he has a ton of other ideas about fun stuff to do around Nautilus because he doesn't care about rules that much. He's gone now, though, he went back to sleep. I hope he's having fun back home.
I didn't think dragons actually existed outside of books and stuff, but he's real. And kind of grumpy, sort of like Azmuth. I think he just cares about rules a lot because he was really strict about where I can practice with weapons even though I normally don't hit anybody anyways.
A musician! Who actually plays instruments and everything! He showed me how to play piano, sorta, and he has a lot of good ideas. He's really fun but it sounds like his family doesn't let him do some of the stuff he really wants to which I don't think is fair.
He doesn't really get what makes a person a person... I guess sometimes I don't either, but I think he doesn't even try to figure it out. And he thinks he's not allowed to do stuff even though he can do whatever he wants 'cause there's no rules here. He must be kinda bad at listening 'cause I feel like lotsa people have already explained it to him.
